A November Wrap-Up
With few words to spare after the last few chaotic weeks, I'll let some of this month's insta-posts do the work.
Birthday Celebration in “The Wild”
While feeling tears-in-my-eyes happy for a weekend out in the tent...the questions are the same as always. "Who used to live here before?" "Where are they now?" "Why are these stories not talked about more?". In short - walking on "US soil" is walking on Stolen Land and as a consequence, we have questions to ask, answers to seek and a lot of work to do.
Assumptions
Assumptions - we all do them on a daily basis. Learning how to be more inclusive in our language will benefit us all.
Do The Work

In a newsletter I received the other day, a teacher mentioned - in the middle of a whole lot of other stuff, without further ado - that they were not going to offer the study trips to the country far away anymore. Trips that they have organized for many years, and which are - have … Continue reading Bravery – as in Walking the Walk
Here come those Santa Ana Winds again
After last week's little post on the fires, new ones have started - the closest one being the Getty fire. I haven't been writing so much lately, but put this text up on facebook and adding it here now too ♥There was a time when, to me, “Santa Ana winds” were just three little words, that … Continue reading Here come those Santa Ana Winds again
